Calling All Artists!

Contribute Your Art,

Contribute to Our Community.

Dear Artist,

Lebanon Family Health Services is excited to announce our 5th annual “Splash of Color” event, May 11, 2019, at the historic Cornwall Inn, Lebanon, PA. This juried art auction and fundraising event to support Lebanon Family Health Services places your artwork in front of 200 active participants!

The theme of this year’s Splash of Color event is all about interaction. With your help, we want to explore the ways in which people of our community connect with, enjoy, and internalize art in all of its forms. As a contributing artist, we are asking you to help make that connection through your work by submitting pieces that best demonstrate how you communicate through your chosen art form. Artists from all mediums are encouraged to participate with the aim of displaying a diverse and eclectic mix of work.

As a participating artist, you are a vital part of our community partnerships and the fundraising efforts which have made it possible for Lebanon Family Health Services to provide quality healthcare for low income, uninsured and under-insured families in the Lebanon Community for over 45 years. Your support helps us to provide over 52,000 visits annually to more than 15,000 persons in Lebanon County, representing 35-40% of the city population and 10% of the county population.

We invite you to submit up to three pieces of your work for consideration. The committee conducting the jurying will select a limited number of pieces per medium to showcase a broad range of artwork at the event. We are asking artists to donate 60% of the winning bid back to Lebanon Family Health Services, though that is not a requirement to participate. Some artists demonstrate their commitment to our mission by donating full proceeds back to our agency, and we would welcome your consideration in doing so.

Artists of accepted submissions will receive one complimentary ticket to this year’s Splash of Color event which will offer a real celebration of the arts along with appetizers and beverages. Please contact Melissa at 717-808-6288 or melissa@thinkinvictus.com to let us know if you would like to participate. An information packet containing details and requirements for your submission(s) will be delivered to you directly. For your piece(s) to be considered for this event, we ask that you submit art by Friday, March 29th. If available, please also provide a digital photo of your piece(s).

If you have generously supported us in the past, we look forward to your continued support. If you are among our new or emerging artists, we welcome your submission(s) and look forward to working with you! Don’t miss this opportunity to market your artwork and help those less fortunate in the Lebanon Community.

In the 1970’s women in Lebanon had no where to go.

When I first arrived in Lebanon in the early 1970’s, I was disheartened that there was no place to go for family planning services. Women in the county desperately needed them. I served on the steering committee that helped found Lebanon Family Planning.
