Since spring 2024, the Women’s Health Services Program is a two-year grant from The Family Health Council of Central Pennsylvania. The goal of the program is to improve health equity in women’s health by increasing awareness and increasing knowledge about how to access women’s services.

What Is Women’s Health Services?

  • Provide education, counseling, screening, and testing related to women’s health conditions and menstrual services
  • Provide health screenings including breast and cervical cancer screening, STI screening, wellness screening (e.g., high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.), and vaccination
  • Provide information and education about the importance and availability CDC-recommended vaccines (HPV, RSV for pregnant women, Flu, Tdap, COVID, etc.)
  • Provide free women’s & children’s health products (i.e., menstrual products, diapers, etc.)
  • Provide education around STIs and HIV, and provide free at-home STI and HIV testing
  • Identify referral sources and coordinate referrals and linkages to follow-up services
